Najaf: Iraq's Minister of Communications announces the issuance of a commemorative stamp marking the grand funeral ceremony of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in the holy city of Najaf Ashraf. Mustafa Sand said that a ceremonial stamp has been issued on the occasion of the majestic funeral ceremony for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution in the cities of Najaf and Karbala.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the memorial postage issue has been released to honor the grand funeral ceremony that Iraq is witnessing in tribute to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, serving as a symbol of recording this event in the country's historical memory. The funeral procession for the martyred Leader began early on Wednesday in Najaf with the massive presence of Iraqi citizens, pilgrims, and political and religious figures, and was held under special security and service arrangements.

Earlier, late on Tuesday, the sacred bodies of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution and several members of his family were formally received at Najaf International Airport by senior officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq.
