Tehran: Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Pakpour emphasized that the Iranian Armed Forces are thoroughly equipped and ready to deliver a decisive and firm response to any threats posed by adversaries.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Major General Pakpour made these remarks during a visit to inspect the IRGC naval units located at the Persian Gulf bases in southern Iran. The purpose of his visit was to evaluate the combat readiness of the operational units stationed on the Persian Gulf Islands, which he assessed to be at a high level.
While addressing the naval forces in the region, Major General Pakpour highlighted past successes, stating, “Just as the armed forces brought the Zionist regime and the United States to their knees in the 12-day imposed war, if any movement is made by the enemies in the sea and islands, the IRGC Navy will respond with all might.” He went on to praise the forces’ strong morale and deep commitment to Islamic values, citing these as key contributors to the strength of the Iranian troops, which he believes instills fear in their adversaries.
