Tehran: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced its readiness for extensive strategic cooperation with the Iranian government to counteract what it describes as an economic war waged by the United States. This collaboration aims to bolster the country's resilience against ongoing sanctions.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC issued a statement in recognition of Government Week on Monday, emphasizing that enhanced coordination between the military force and the government is crucial for overcoming complex sanctions and external economic pressures. The statement highlighted Iran's ongoing struggle against what it terms the 'front of global arrogance,' particularly pointing to the United States and Israel. It also criticized certain regional countries for fortifying this opposition through what it called 'stupid support.'

The IRGC underscored that government backing for national defense and societal resilience efforts is strategically vital under the current circumstances. It identified economic warfare as the primary battleground for Iran, noting that sanctions are intended to instill despair, strain livelihoods, and erode social trust within the country.

The statement urged government entities involved in the economy, trade, oil, industry, agriculture, banking, and diplomacy to actively work towards neutralizing sanctions. It stressed the importance of managing markets, securing essential goods, controlling inflation, and generating employment. The statement equated progress in addressing livelihood challenges with battlefield victories, underscoring their significance for the nation's welfare.

Furthermore, the IRGC reflected on its four decades of collaboration with the government in efforts related to poverty alleviation, reconstruction, and infrastructure development. It noted that such cooperation has historically helped Iran navigate economic challenges and should be expanded to meet current needs.

The elite military force also expressed its willingness to assist the government in areas such as economic security, logistical support, infrastructure development, combating smuggling and corruption, and managing economic and social crises.
