Tehran: The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps has reported targeting the positions of US F35, F15, and F16 fighter jets in response to the recent aggression. The announcement was made in a statement released by the IRGC's public relations office on Thursday.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched the operation early on Thursday using 12 ballistic missiles. The strikes were aimed at the deployment site of American F35, F15, and F16 warplanes, as well as key facilities associated with the US military at the Al-Azraq air base and control center.

The statement indicated that the missiles successfully destroyed those facilities and a substantial number of American fighter jets. This action is part of a series of measures taken by the IRGC in retaliation for recent military activities perceived as aggressive by the United States forces in the region.
