New york: Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, emphasized that U.S. President Donald Trump should desist from issuing repeated threats against Iran.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Iravani expressed these views at the United Nations Security Council on June 10, 2026, stating that sustainable agreements cannot be achieved through intimidation or the use of force. He criticized President Trump's renewed threat of force against Iran, urging a shift toward diplomacy.
Iravani's full speech underscored the need for the Security Council to address the root causes of Middle East conflicts, such as occupation and acts of aggression.
