Tehran: Hundreds of thousands of Iranians have poured into the streets of Tehran as the large-scale mass rally of the Jan-Fada, the national campaign titled Jan-Fada aimed at defending the homeland, has started.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the national Jan-Fada rally, with the participation of 313,000 people, started on Friday, September 18, 2026, in Tehran. The rally reflects public support from volunteers who have declared readiness to assist in various fields, including logistics support, rescue and relief, social assistance, and defensive tasks.
Officials describe the event as part of wider measures to strengthen public preparedness and coordination between security institutions and civilian groups. The initiative is aimed at defending the country against potential external threats and possible hostile actions by foreign enemies.
