Leader: Persian Language One of Greatest Capacities for Promoting Iran’s Rich Culture

Tehran: Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei has highlighted the Persian language and literature as one of the most significant capacities for promoting the rich culture and civilization of Islamic Iran on the global stage. He emphasized this sentiment in a recent post on his X account, underscoring the role of Persian literary heritage in reflecting the nation's identity and valor.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ayatollah Khamenei stated that the Iranian nation has shown, particularly during the Sacred Defense against the US-Zionist invasion, that the legendary tales of Ferdowsi are not just myths, but a reality of their lives. He described these tales as a reflection of the Iranian people's heroic character and a testament to their resilience.

Khamenei further noted that the valiant, Quranic concepts inherent in the Shahnameh serve to unite all Iranian ethnicities and social strata in preserving their identity and independence. He likened their struggle to a battle against "Zahhak-like" aggressors, drawing parallels between the tales of old and contemporary challenges.

The Ayatollah called upon the people of culture and arts to rise as Ferdowsi did, advocating for a "rising of the artists" to match the nation's rising. He urged them to blend thought, pen, and art to narrate and eternalize the nation's great achievements in history.

Finally, Ayatollah Khamenei remarked on the Iranian nation's preparedness in confronting the American lifestyle, attributing this readiness to their courageous resistance and glorious victory against global adversaries.
