Tehran: Minister of Justice Amin Hossein Rahimi has warned that attempts to sow division and weaken national unity pose a greater threat to Iran than external pressure, stressing the country will not yield to threats.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, speaking at a ceremony in Hamedan marking Government Week on Thursday, Rahimi said that the resistance of Iran's Armed Forces and security agencies, along with public support, thwarted the enemy's objectives in the recent imposed war and its efforts to create insecurity and unrest inside the country.

He said that despite years of sanctions and economic pressure, Iran has met its basic needs and overcome challenges through proper management.

The justice minister stressed that the enemy is now focusing on creating divisions and polarization in society, warning that weakening national unity could be more damaging than external pressure.

He said that differences of opinion are natural, but once legal decisions are made, all officials and political groups must move in one direction to safeguard national security and interests.

Rahimi stressed that Iran will not yield to pressure or threats and will defend the rights and interests of its people by relying on the public, the leadership, and domestic capabilities.
