Iran: Iran's Acting Defense Minister Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Ibn al-Reza has emphasized the unity of the Iranian people as a critical element of the nation's defensive strength. He articulated this view in the context of recent conflicts, asserting that any adversary contemplating an attack on Iran would confront a nation that stands united in its defense.
According to the Islamic Republic News Agency, Ibn al-Reza paid tribute to Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, for his guidance. He noted that the unity of the Iranian nation was vividly evident on the battlefield, underscoring that this cohesion is a cornerstone of Iran's defensive power.
The Acting Defense Minister highlighted that the Armed Forces and the Iranian people, under the leadership of the Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist, have displayed a collective resilience. He stressed that this unity acts as a deterrent to potential aggressors, ensuring they face a formidable and unified opponent.
Ibn al-Reza also conveyed that the Ministry of Defense is actively implementing the Commander-in-Chief's directives. The ministry's mission focuses on fortifying the nation's power, safeguarding national security, and enhancing defensive capabilities to dissuade any hostile intentions.
