Tehran: The chairperson of Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee reports that a planned ground offensive against Iran has been thwarted, emphasizing that the United States will not be spared until it is fully defeated. Ebrahim Azizi announced that Iran's military units, with the support of local forces, successfully foiled a planned ground attack from multiple directions.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Azizi also issued a stern warning that if Iran's security is threatened again, the country will target US security "wherever they are in the world." He argued that the United States had three objectives in its recent conflicts with Iran: surrender, division, and a political overthrow. However, Azizi stated that the US failed to achieve any of these aims, and Iran's forceful and unexpected response compelled the enemy to seek a ceasefire.
Azizi condemned the United States for what he described as brutal acts during the conflict, including assassinations and attacks on civilian areas. He noted that these measures were unsuccessful in breaking Iran's resistance. Addressing the United States, Azizi warned that Iran would continue to pursue it "until its final defeat."
