Tehran: Iran's navy commander has declared that resistance is no longer limited to any geographic boundary, emphasizing that adversaries now face a broader Islamic resistance rather than a single nation. Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran's navy, made these remarks in an interview with Yemen's Al-Masirah network.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Irani stated that the enemy must recognize it is not merely confronting one country, but the vastness of Islam and the Islamic resistance movement. He noted that followers of the martyred Leader and Imam of the nation have gathered to reaffirm their brotherhood as taught in his school of thought.
Irani also issued a warning to adversaries, indicating they should brace themselves for encounters with Muslim fighters seeking retribution for their fallen martyrs. He warned that the enemies should be prepared for a devastating response that will leave them shattered.
In a separate interview with Al-Masirah, Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, senior adviser to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, commented on the strategic errors made by the United States and the Israeli regime, asserting that the martyrdom of Iranian figures has only intensified the resolve of the Iranian people. Safavi expressed optimism that Islamic and free nations will unite to resist global oppression led by the United States and Israel.
Safavi lauded the resilience of Yemen, specifically acknowledging the Ansarullah movement and Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi for their leadership characterized by bravery, faith, and wisdom. He also voiced hope that one day, the people of Iran, Yemen, and Lebanon will join forces to achieve the liberation of Palestine.
Both interviews were conducted on the sidelines of the farewell ceremony for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
