Tehran: CEO of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) Hosseini Jaberi Ansari has stated that the Israeli regime's assassination of senior resistance figures in the region will not silence the voice of movements fighting the regime. In a message issued on Monday, Jaberi Ansari expressed condolences over the martyrdom of the head of the Media Relations Department of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah, Mohammad Afif Al-Nablsi, who was killed in a terrorist attack by the Israeli regime a day earlier. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRNA chief emphasized that resistance in Palestine and Lebanon will persist as long as occupation continues, regardless of the Israeli regime's assassination campaigns. Jaberi Ansari noted that Afif was a key figure in voicing resistance against Zionist occupiers and that he achieved his long-held aspiration of martyrdom. Jaberi Ansari further remarked that the assassination of Afif exemplifies Israel's fear of truth, highlighting that the regime has assassina ted over 210 journalists and media activists since the onset of the Gaza war in October 2023. He described media professionals as protectors of truth and awareness, who convey the voice of resistance against the Israeli regime. He also called for solidarity among journalists worldwide to uncover state-sponsored acts of terrorism by the Zionist regime.
