Tehran: The Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has emphasized the critical role of journalists in today's world, particularly in narrating the truth. In a message celebrating National Journalist Day, Mohammad Eslami expressed his gratitude to media professionals for their dedication to truth-telling and accurately depicting the realities faced by the Iranian nation.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Eslami lauded Iranian journalists for their professional efforts in exposing the nation's resilience during the US-Israeli-imposed conflicts over the past year. He extended his congratulations to those involved in news and media, acknowledging their significant contributions to raising public awareness on various issues.

Eslami highlighted that this year's Journalist Day holds special significance, as the Iranian people have demonstrated unity and strength in overcoming challenges posed by external aggressions. He stressed that journalists, through their responsible reporting and accurate depictions of adversarial schemes, play a pivotal role in defending truth and countering misinformation, thereby safeguarding national interests.
