Tehran: Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf says the US and Israeli regime were forced to 'practically recognize' Iran's allies in the Axis of Resistance under the recent Memorandum of Understanding with Washington. Ghalibaf made the remarks during a meeting in Tehran on Sunday with Mohammad al-Nuaimi, Yemen's deputy president and a member of the Ansarullah political council, on the sidelines of funeral ceremonies for the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ghalibaf emphasized that the US and Israel were compelled to acknowledge Iran's allies as a result of the recent memorandum. He described this development as a significant achievement for the Axis of Resistance, marking both a military and political victory over the US. Ghalibaf highlighted that the memorandum signified a 'defeat for the US' and an 'achievement for the Resistance Front,' showcasing the unity and strength of Iran and its allies against US and Israeli influence.

Ghalibaf further called for solidarity among Islamic nations to liberate themselves from US and Israeli control. He commended Ansarullah and the Yemeni populace for their steadfastness against violations of international law and oppression, underscoring their role in demonstrating the cohesive power of the Resistance Front across economic, military, and political domains.

Mohammad al-Nuaimi, representing Yemen, echoed similar sentiments, stating that Yemen and Iran were unified in their efforts for the Islamic Ummah. He remarked that the recent events in Iran during the war had served as an inspiration and a guiding principle for the entire Resistance Front.
