Minab:First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref highlighted that students of Shajareh Tayyebeh School in Minab were absent from their classroom due to violence attributed to the United States. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Aref stated that the brutality and violence by the United States and the Israeli regime had resulted in the empty seats of Minab’s children among Iranian students. He made these remarks during a ceremony marking the start of the school year. The incident involved a US-Israeli strike on Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School in Minab, Hormuzgan Province, on February 28, 2026, which resulted in the deaths of over 168 schoolchildren and teachers.
