Tehran:Iran's government spokesperson, Fatemeh Mohajerani, announced that the United States has submitted a proposal to President Masoud Pezeshkian. The proposal was delivered by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi briefed the cabinet on his recent trip to New York, where he held meetings and discussions. During these talks, Iran's conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz were communicated to the US through mediators.
Mohajerani emphasized that the proposal was presented to President Pezeshkian during a cabinet meeting on Wednesday. Despite efforts by Iran's adversaries to politically isolate the country, the Iranian delegation was a focal point of attention, engaging in numerous meetings with European countries, Persian Gulf states, and other nations.
