Tehran: Iran's finance minister Abdolnasser Hemmati has appointed a woman for the first time as the chief supervisor of the country's central bank. Kowsar Yousefi was appointed as Head of the Board Of Supervisors of the Central Bank of Iran on Tuesday. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Iran's finance ministry stated that the appointment was in line with the current administrative government's policy of appointing women to key managerial roles.
