Geneva: Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, has departed for Geneva to participate in the meeting of Senior Officials of the UN Human Rights Council and to elaborate on Iran's positions. Gharibabadi is to speak at this meeting on Monday afternoon.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the United Nations Human Rights Council will hold its sixty-first regular session from 23 February to 31 March 2026 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva. The session will commence with its high-level segment from 23 to 25 February when dignitaries from more than 100 states will address the Council.
