Antalya: Iran and Turkiye have stressed the importance of ongoing political consultations and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors, following a meeting between their deputy foreign ministers. Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh and his Turkish counterpart, Musa Kulaklikaya, met on the sidelines of the fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum on Sunday to review bilateral relations.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the discussions highlighted the necessity of maintaining political dialogue and collaboration in various fields. The meeting also addressed regional issues, with particular focus on the recent developments stemming from US-Israeli actions against Iran.
The Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which took place from April 17 to 19, gathered leaders and senior officials from numerous countries to deliberate on global challenges and regional tensions. Senior diplomats at the event also participated in discussions on urgent international matters and the increasing instability impacting different regions.
