Israel-US Nexus Obvious in Terror Resurgence in Syria: Iran FM.

Tehran: Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has asserted that recent developments in Syria signify a complete coordination between Israel, the United States, and terrorist groups aimed at destabilizing the Arab nation. Araghchi made these remarks during a live TV broadcast on Monday night following his diplomatic visits to Damascus and Ankara, where he engaged in discussions with senior Syrian and Turkish officials about combating terrorism and preventing the region from becoming a hub for terrorist activities. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi emphasized his visit to Damascus was intended to deliberate on the recent terrorist attack on Aleppo and other parts of Syria. He mentioned his detailed discussions with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, reiterating Iran's unwavering support for the Syrian government. He stated, "Just as the Syrian government was with us during the imposed war, we will also be with this country." Araghchi praised the determination among Syrians to defend their na tion while highlighting the coordinated terror plot by the American and Zionist regimes against Syria. He noted that the timing of these attacks, following a ceasefire in Lebanon, further indicates such coordination. During his trip to Ankara, Araghchi underscored Iran's ongoing consultations with Turkey on regional issues. He acknowledged differences in opinions but also recognized common grounds, particularly the consensus that Syria should not become a sanctuary for terrorists. Araghchi revealed plans to continue consultations and resume the Astana process, with a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Iran, Russia, and Turkey possibly taking place in Doha next week. Araghchi also mentioned his participation in the ECO Council of Ministers' meeting, chaired by Iran, in the city of Mashhad after his visits to Damascus and Ankara. He concluded by stating the ECO's primary goal is to emphasize economic activities, which, if achieved, will lead to the economic advancement of its member nations.
