Tehran: Iran's acting defense minister has revealed that the country has encountered a hybrid war of unprecedented magnitude, incorporating cyber, military, proxy, and counter-revolutionary elements, with certain bombs specifically designed for use against Iran.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Majid Ibn al-Reza, the caretaker of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, shared these insights during separate meetings with parliamentary commissions on agriculture, environment, and planning and budget. He presented a report detailing the latest imposed war and the performance of Iran's defense industry.

Ibn al-Reza explained that the adversary employed a combined strategy, utilizing cyber tools, military forces, proxy forces, and counter-revolutionary elements to maximize its capabilities. He further disclosed that some weapons were used for the first time, including bombs specifically manufactured for targeting Iran.

The acting defense minister characterized the recent conflict as one of the most unprecedented in history, describing it as the first large-scale missile and drone war, with the highest volume of air operations and extensive use of various defense technologies. Despite these challenges, he noted that the defense industry maintained its operations without interruption, even under severe wartime conditions.

Ibn al-Reza stated that the production of defense products continued unabated, with significant growth observed in some areas. He highlighted that capabilities were enhanced during the conflict, with different waves of attacks managed more effectively in terms of technology and performance.

Looking ahead, the acting defense minister emphasized Iran's preparation for future threats over the next 50 years. The ministry plans to leverage capable managers, motivated staff, and expert elites to conduct future studies and chart a strategic path forward, aiming for maximum utilization of national capacity.
