New delhi: On a recent episode of "New Order," Sarang Shidore, director of the Global South Program at the Quincy Institute, discussed the dynamics of BRICS as a burgeoning super-coalition, emphasizing the impact of U.S. policies on its development. Shidore analyzed the implications of the U.S. threats to impose a 100% tariff on India in an effort to end its purchases of Russian oil. Despite these pressures, India has maintained its stance, illustrating its foreign policy strategy of balancing relations with the United States and other emerging powers like Russia.
