France Expresses Readiness to Continue Nuclear Talks with Iran

Paris: France's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the country's willingness to resume nuclear discussions with Iran, signaling support for a diplomatic resolution to the ongoing nuclear issue. This statement underscores France's commitment to finding a peaceful solution through dialogue with Tehran.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Christophe Lemoine, the spokesperson for the Ministry, shared these remarks during a weekly press briefing in Paris. The announcement follows a tweet from Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, who invited France, along with Germany and Britain-collectively known as the European troika-back to the negotiating table. Araqchi emphasized the current state of affairs as a 'lose-lose' situation, urging for renewed diplomatic efforts.

In his tweet, Araqchi highlighted the fluctuating nature of Iran's relations with the E3 nations, acknowledging the current downturn. He noted that each side holds its own perspective on the matter and cautioned against the futility of assigning blame. The invitation from Iran's Foreign Minister marks a potential turning point in the diplomatic relations between Iran and the European troika, as both sides seek to address and resolve longstanding issues surrounding Iran's nuclear program.
