Baghdad, The Iraqi National Security Service (INSS) announced the overthrow of twenty people accused of drug trafficking and the seizure of 7 kilograms of crystal narcotic substances, in Baghdad and other governorates within a month. The INSS stated in a statement that its detachments followed one of those accused of drug trafficking and arrested him on the international highway and seized in his possession about 7 kilograms of crystal distributed into seven bags. During his investigation, he confessed to his partner in promoting narcotic substances, who was arrested after collecting adequate evidence. .' It added, "In separate operations in the governorates of (Baghdad, Basra, Anbar, and Babylon), our detachments were able, within a month, to overthrow (18) defendants accused of trading, promoting, and transporting narcotic substances against whom judicial arrest warrants were issued.
