Iran: Iran's deputy foreign minister for legal and international affairs has issued a stern warning, holding Italy and Romania accountable for their roles in facilitating US-Israeli military aggression against Iran. This development comes in response to recent statements from the NATO Secretary General, as reported in a Fox News interview.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran's deputy foreign minister, took to the social media platform X to express his concerns. He highlighted the NATO chief's acknowledgment of Italy and Romania as pivotal supporters in the US military operations targeting Iran. Gharibabadi emphasized that these actions by Italy and Romania incur international responsibility, as they are effectively aiding an act of aggression.
In his statement, Gharibabadi referenced the United Nations General Assembly Resolution 3314. He pointed out that any state permitting its territory to be used by another party in committing aggression against a third nation is itself complicit in that act of aggression. Iran's assertion underscores the gravity of the situation and calls into question the accountability of the countries involved in hosting military bases used against Iran.
