Tehran: The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran engaged in a telephone conversation with his Saudi Arabian counterpart to address regional developments and the ongoing diplomatic process between Iran and the United States.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, on May 11, Abbas Araghchi and Faisal bin Farhan held their second telephone consultation within 24 hours. The discussions revolved around the latest developments in the diplomatic negotiations between Iran and the US, which are being mediated by Pakistan.

On May 10, Araghchi also reached out to the Saudi Foreign Minister and his counterparts from Qatar and the Netherlands to discuss key regional developments. These interactions underscore the significant diplomatic efforts being undertaken to address and resolve regional and international issues.
