The Moon conjunction with Jupiter, the giant of the solar system, will be observed tomorrow morning in the Arab world's sky as a most beautiful phenomenon easily visible to the naked eye at the end of this month. Jeddah Astronomy Society Director Majed Abu Zahra said that Jupiter is the fourth brightest object in the celestial dome after the sun, moon, and Venus. It will appear as a bright white point to the observer with the naked eye. When observed through binoculars or a small telescope, the planet's disk and its four large moons - known as the Galilean moons: Ganymede, Callisto, Europa, and Io - will be visible as small light points near Jupiter. Abu Zahra said that all these celestial bodies appear to move westward during the night hours due to the Earth's rotation around its axis. He also pointed out that by observing the moon's position at the same time each day, it is noticeable that its movement is eastward relative to the stars and planets in the solar system.
