Kuwait's Ministry of Interior and the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) mulled Monday enhancing cooperation in the fields of security, information exchange and training.The efforts to boost cooperation were discussed in a meeting held in Kuwait today between Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and the visiting Interpol President Ahmad Naser Al-Raisi, according to a statement by the Ministry of Interior.During the meeting, Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf greeted Al-Raisi and reaffirmed Kuwait's commitment to cooperate with regional and international organizations to maintain security and peace.For his part, Al-Raisi expressed his gratitude to Kuwait for the warm hospitality he received and commended the Interior Ministry's efforts and cooperation with the international organization to cement global security and peace and combat organized crimes.Source: Kuwait News Agency
