The state of Qatar hosts tomorrow the 11th meeting of the senior officials responsible for Islamic Affairs and Endowments in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The meeting will address several significant issues, particularly the exchange of scientific research and experience in endowments among member states through virtual seminars. Also presented will be their experience in Islamic affairs, the establishment of an international endowment day, the creation of a GCC scientific observatory to reflect the true image of Islam, and a working paper on the role of ministries of endowments and Islamic and religious affairs in supporting individuals with disabilities. The working paper "The Importance of Caring for Historical Mosques" will also be discussed, along with other topics of mutual interest. Source: Saudi Press Agency
