Baghdad, The Maysan Operations Command announced today, Wednesday, the arrest of 9 people before they committed the 'tribal raid,' and weapons were seized in their possession in al-Majar district.The command stated in a statement, 'Based on the directives of the Commander of Maysan Operations, Major General Sabah Al-Azzawi, a force from the Second Regiment, 80th Commando Brigade, 22nd Commando Division arrested nine people before they committed what is known as a 'tribal raid,' indicating that 'weapons were seized from their possession in al-Majar.It added, "The defendants and the seized items were handed over to the requested party in accordance with the law."Source: National Iraqi News Agency
