In reference to the global IT outage that affected most entities worldwide, the Capital Market Authority (CMA) coordinated from the first moment with the relevant authorities in the Saudi financial market to ensure that it was not affected. This demonstrated the safety of the operating systems of the Saudi financial market and its full readiness to provide services to all investors in the financial market in sessions of trading for tomorrow. The CMA said that a circular had been issued to companies listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange regarding the necessity of reporting any fundamental developments in this regard. The Saudi Tadawul Group also announced the safety and readiness of its systems to provide services to all investors in the Saudi market. The CMA confirms that technical teams are working to monitor systems around the clock, to secure services and technical infrastructure, and to preserve business flow and systems efficiency in the Saudi financial market.
