Divide Among Men Above and Under 35: CPAC Highlights Generational GOP Split

Washington: For the first time in nearly a decade, President Donald Trump did not attend one of the biggest annual meetings of conservatives. However, even in his absence, the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) revolved around him and the ongoing Iran conflict, which has caused a division among Trump supporters.

According to France24.com, Todd Belt, a professor and the director of the Political Management Program at George Washington University, highlighted a significant generational divide within the Republican Party. Citing a recent poll, Belt noted that the real split is among men aged above and under 35 years. Men above 35 remain steadfast supporters of Trump, while the younger demographic is increasingly distancing itself from him. "It's breaking up the Republican Party," Belt stated, emphasizing the potential impact of this division on the party's unity and future dynamics.
