Tehran: Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has held a telephone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty to discuss the latest developments in the region. During the phone call on Friday, Araghchi briefed Abdelatty on the latest developments in the indirect talks between Iran and the United States, specifically focusing on the most recent meeting held in Geneva, Switzerland, on Thursday.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi emphasized Tehran's commitment to utilizing diplomacy for resolving issues, highlighting that success requires seriousness and realism from the other side, along with avoiding any miscalculation and excessive demands. The third round of indirect talks between Iran and the US concluded in Geneva with the mediation of the Omani foreign minister on Thursday.
