Mexico city: On the occasion of the 124th anniversary of Iran-Mexico friendly relations, the Iranian Ambassador to Mexico expressed the Islamic Republic's readiness to initiate a new phase in bilateral ties with the Latin American country. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Alireza Pasandideh, the Iranian Ambassador, highlighted the significance of May 14, the anniversary of the 'Treaty of Friendship and Commerce' signed in 1902, in an article published in the Mexican magazine Buzos. This treaty laid the foundation for over a century of relations characterized by mutual respect, dialogue, and goodwill.
The ambassador stressed that it is time for both nations to focus on the future and leverage their mutual capacities to enhance friendly relations. This initiative aims to elevate the bilateral ties to a new level, reflecting the historical significance and stature of both countries.
