Tehran: The recent US-Israeli-imposed war against Iran has bolstered the nation's sense of nationalism and self-reliance, according to government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani, who made the remarks on Saturday. Mohajerani emphasized that the conflict has instilled a stronger national pride among Iranians and reinforced the importance of self-sufficiency.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mohajerani stated, "The recent war increased our sense of nationalism and national pride, and we understood that we should not hope for foreigners." Her comments highlight a growing sentiment within Iran to focus on internal strength and unity amidst external pressures.
She further expressed optimism regarding Iran's future, drawing parallels to the country's historical resilience. Mohajerani pointed to the aftermath of the Mongol invasion as evidence of Iran's ability to thrive after significant challenges. "After the Mongol invasion, Iran became more scientific because we were able to guide even the Mongols toward science and civilization," she noted. She concluded by expressing her belief that, with divine support, Iran's civilization has the potential to emerge even more robust than before.
