Baghdad, The head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Muayyad Al-Lami, chaired an expanded meeting to discuss preparations for the celebrations of the Iraqi National Press Day, which falls on June 15 of each year.The meeting included the two deputy heads of the Syndicate, members of the Syndicate council, the heads of the discipline and oversight committees, the heads of the Syndicate's branches in the governorates, committee members, and the Syndicate's staff.Al-Lami stressed that these celebrations should be an expression of the bright picture of stability, sophistication, development and prosperity that Iraq is witnessing, and the major reconstruction campaigns launched by the government in all fields and the achievements and gains achieved by Iraqi journalists.Source: National Iraqi News Agency
