Sanandaj: Esmaeil Baqaei, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has emphasized that the people of Kurdestan, through their resilience, understanding, and high political awareness, have played a significant role in protecting Iran's borders and countering adversaries.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Baqaei made these statements during an exclusive interview in Sanandaj. He responded to repeated statements by US officials regarding Kurds, asserting that Iran has never paid attention to foreign comments about its citizens. He highlighted the unwavering love Iranians, including Kurds, Lors, Turks, Baloch, and Persians, have for their homeland.

Baqaei described these foreign claims as signs of desperation and a lack of understanding of the Iranian people. He further stated that adversaries resort to various plots to achieve their illegitimate goals and interests.
