Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi discussed with Egypt's Ambassador in Jakarta Yaser el Shimy the latest developments in the Gaza Strip.Both sides probed a number of points to strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Saturday 08/6/2024.They reviewed efforts on delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza and settling the Palestinian cause based on the two-state solution and relevant international legitimacy resolutions.The Egyptian diplomat tackled ongoing preparations for the emergency conference on Gaza humanitarian response, to be jointly organized by Jordan, Egypt and the United Nations in Jordan on June 11.Source: State Information Service Egypt
