Riyadh: The Secretary-General of the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal), Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari, hosted a delegation from the Italian Senate led by Senator Marco Scoria at the centre's headquarters in Riyadh today.The two sides discussed ways to combat extremist ideology.The delegation was briefed on Etidal's efforts to limit the impact of extremist rhetoric while promoting a culture of moderation and tolerance.During the meeting, Dr. Al-Shammari presented Senator Scoria with a gift of the "Etidal" shield.Source: Saudi News Agency
