Tehran: An advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution says that Iran is currently evaluating signals from Washington on the potential resumption of talks. In an interview with Al Jazeera, Larijani stated that Tehran has received messages from the United States about the recommencement of talks, noting that the communications are under review.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, after the war that was imposed on Tehran, the Islamic Republic of Iran no longer has any trust in the United States. This reference pertains to the Israeli aggression on Iranian territory on June 23, 2025. Iran and the United States were on the cusp of a new round of talks concerning the removal of imposed sanctions and Iran’s peaceful nuclear program when the Israeli regime launched an unprovoked war against Iran. This conflict included attacks on its nuclear facilities, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of scientists, military personnel, and civilians.
