Tehran: Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Iran, Ali Darabi, announced plans to register the office and residence of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution as a national site.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the office and residence of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the former Leader of the Islamic Revolution, were targeted in an Israeli airstrike on February 28. This attack marked the beginning of the recent US-Israeli war of aggression on Iran, resulting in the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei.
Darabi revealed on Wednesday that communications have been established with Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the martyred leader's son and the current Leader of the Islamic Revolution, to facilitate the registration of his father's office and residence as a national site.
The registration initiative is part of a broader effort by Iran to document the alleged crimes committed by the US and Israel against the Iranian population. During 40 days of airstrikes, the two regimes reportedly targeted civilian sites, including schools, universities, sports complexes, and residential areas across various Iranian cities. In retaliation, Iran launched attacks on US military bases in the region and positions within Israel.
