The ministerial meeting to monitor production in OPEC and OPEC +, session (53), decided to recommend maintaining production levels until next June without change.The official spokesman for the Ministry of Oil, Assem Jihad, said, 'Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs, Minister of Oil Hayan Abdul-Ghani participated, via video, in the ministerial meeting to monitor production, which was held today, Wednesday, along with members of the Council and with the participation of the director of the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO), Ammar Al-Anbaki and the representative of Iraq in the organization.He added, "The importance of maintaining previously established production levels was emphasized, in addition to the commitment of member states in order to achieve greater stability and balance in global markets, and the Council also decided to hold its next meeting on June 1, 2024."Source: National Iraqi News Agency
