Pezeshkian’s Departure for New York to Attend UNGA80

Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian left Tehran for New York to attend and address the 80th session of the UNGA. He was seen off at Mehrabad Airport by Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref, aide to the Leader of Islamic Revolution Mohsen Qomi, and several cabinet members.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, President Pezeshkian’s visit to New York is part of his commitment to engage in discussions and deliberations at the United Nations General Assembly. The UNGA serves as a platform for member states to address global issues and collaborate on international policies. Pezeshkian’s participation is anticipated to include meetings with other world leaders and speeches on topics relevant to Iran and the international community.
