Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli inspected Al Ahram Studios site in Omraniya, Giza, where a devastating fire broke out in the wee hours of Saturday 16/03/2024.Accompanied by the governor of Giza and a host of ministers, Madbouli was given a situation assessment detailing how nearby buildings were affected by the blaze, and how Civil Protection Forces managed to control it.Decors were damaged at the studio where one of the Ramadan TV series was being filmed.In exclusive statements earlier, a senior governorate official told MENA that civil protection forces had managed to extinguish the fire with their cooling devices after evacuating residents of surrounding buildings as a routine precaution to protect their lives.Source: State Information Service Egypt
