Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian congratulated the King, the Crown Prince, and the people of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of the Saudi National Day. In his message to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Pezeshkian noted the commonalities between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which could strengthen the friendship between the two Muslim nations.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Pezeshkian expressed hope for mutual efforts leading to an expanding relationship across various fronts. In a separate message to Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, he conveyed optimism about maximizing existing capacities to enhance cooperation in political, economic, and cultural fields.
