Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated today in the joint ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the United States. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City. The meeting explored ways to strengthen the partnership and cooperation between the GCC and the U.S. It also addressed bilateral and regional issues of common interest, with the current situations in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon being a primary focus. The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the U.S., Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and several officials. Source: Saudi Press Agency
