Iran Will Never Bow Down to Pressure, Warns Pezeshkian

Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian has reiterated Iran’s steadfastness, saying the Islamic Republic will overcome obstacles created by ill-wishers and will never surrender to their bullying and excessive demands. Addressing a ceremony to honor the medalists of the 2025 World Science Olympiads on Saturday, Pezeshkian referred to the failure of the UN Security Council to adopt a draft resolution to permanently lift the sanctions against Iran.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Pezeshkian stated that the enemies cannot block the path of anyone who has the determination, will, and ability to progress. He added that Iran will not bow down, emphasizing the country’s ability and power to bring transformation and resist external pressures from a “fake criminal regime” trying to impose its will in the region.

The President emphasized that his administration is working to transform the education system to enable Iranian youth to overcome obstacles without hesitation when pursuing their goals. Highlighting the progress achieved by many countries through the effective use of their human resources, Pezeshkian noted that Iran has not advanced as much as it could because it has not fully harnessed its potential.

Pezeshkian further remarked that the true wealth of Iran lies not in its natural resources but in its elite and creative youth. Commending the medalists of the World Science Olympiads for their achievements, he stated that the Iranian youth would elevate the country’s status on the global stage. By relying on its young talent, Iran can aspire to bring prosperity, justice, and fairness to itself and the region.
