Tehran: Iran’s foreign minister has issued a stern warning, stating that if the Israeli regime’s conflict extends further within West Asia, its severe repercussions will not remain confined to the region. During a conference in Tehran titled “Nasrallah’s School of Thought,” Abbas Araghchi highlighted the rejection by the apartheid Zionist regime of all ceasefire proposals concerning Gaza and Lebanon, while also criticizing the international community’s failure to stop the regime’s actions.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi emphasized that the global community should be aware that the expansion of this conflict could lead to insecurity and instability spreading beyond West Asia. He expressed concern that the Zionist regime’s continuous aggression and breaches of international law not only jeopardize regional stability and security but also pose a significant threat to the rules-based international order.
The Iranian diplomat further accused the Israeli regime of waging a hybrid war against
Lebanon. This includes utilizing military, intelligence, and media resources, and even sowing discord among Muslims and between Muslims and Christians. Despite the challenges, Araghchi voiced his belief that Lebanese leaders and politicians would navigate this challenging period with understanding and unity.
He concluded by reaffirming Lebanon’s historical role as a land of peaceful coexistence for Muslims, Christians, and followers of other religions, expressing hope for the country’s continued resilience and harmony.
