Geneva: The Iranian delegation involved in the third round of nuclear negotiations with United States representatives in Geneva has introduced proposals intended to challenge the US's commitment to diplomatic solutions, as reported by IRNA's correspondent. These proposals, aimed at addressing and dispelling any US concerns regarding Iran's peaceful nuclear activities, were submitted to the American side through Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, who is mediating the discussions.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the specifics of these proposals remain undisclosed. However, they represent a critical juncture in the ongoing dialogue between the two nations. The Iranian delegation is headed by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, while the US is represented by envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
This latest meeting marks the third round of talks in Geneva within the month, focusing on resolving issues surrounding Iran's nuclear program and the potential lifting of sanctions. Prior to his departure for Geneva, Foreign Minister Araghchi expressed optimism in an interview with India Today, stating that a "fair, balanced, and equitable deal is achievable" with the United States.
