Baghdad: The new Iraqi President, Nizar Amidi, has engaged in discussions with Iran's ambassador to Baghdad, Mohammad Kazem Al-e-Sadeq, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and advocating for the continuation of dialogues to resolve ongoing conflicts in the region.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during the meeting, President Amidi highlighted the significance of maintaining dialogue as a means to resolve crises and avert the dangers of war, aiming to bolster international peace and security. Ambassador Al-e-Sadeq extended his congratulations to President Amidi on his recent election victory and conveyed his best wishes for Amidi's tenure.
